Yesterday, I went on my 1st ever salt river tubing trip with some friends I met while working at The University Of Phoenix. These kids really knew how to have a good time! The trip was amazing! I was able to see a lot of wonderful native Arizona beauty at its best! I drank so much beer on the trip, I begun to worry about the drive I would have to make home. I had about a 1 hour drive from the river to my new home in Downtown Phoenix. Going tubing down the Salt River is something that I would recommend everyone to experience at least 1x in their lives and possibly more! LOL. I kinda wish that I had my cam to document our experience and post pics on this blog of our trip. Everyone all seem to have a good time and the weather was fairly mild (still hot) but with a slight overcast which helped make things tolerable, considering the typical nasty heat we have here in Central Arizona during this time of the year. We really couldn't have asked for a better day (weather-wise) considering July is one of the hottest months in AZ typically & that the weather could have been much, much hotter than it fortunately was.
I highly recommend for anyone looking to bond with some new friends, catch some rays, and party hardy while enjoying a nice, cool river swim and wanting to see some of the best of the natural AZ beauty to plan a trip tubing the Salt River. Who knows, you may end up with a new awakening of your life and all of the fun and excitement their is to do while living. I sure have realized after this trip, that their is much more to life than punching in Monday-Friday at work and clubbing on the weekends.
I plan to posts some pics of this trip if I find some online that my friends have posted :)
